The Ministry of Education is advocating for the creation of Vidya Samiksha Kendras (VSKs) throughout states as part of the National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR). The National Education Policy, 2020, and this effort are complementary.
Facts about Vidya Samiksha Kendras (VSKs)
- The goal of VSK is to use data and technology to significantly improve learning outcomes.
- In order to improve learning outcomes and the overall monitoring of the educational system, this will cover data from more than 15 lakh schools, 96 lakh teachers, and 26 crore students and analyze them meaningfully using big data analysis, AI, and machine learning.

- to monitor the real-time status of numerous initiatives and activities that are under Samagra Shiksha's purview.
- to keep track of registered kids' academic progress, dropout rates, assistance that teachers and schools need to provide, etc.
- to keep tabs on state-level academic and extracurricular activities at the field level and to give field administrators and instructors the power to make data-driven decisions.

What is NDEAR?
- In order to develop and deliver a variety of useful, contextual, innovative solutions that benefit students, teachers, parents, communities, and administrators as well as hasten the implementation of policy goals, NDEAR is federated, unbundled, interoperable, inclusive, accessible, and dynamic.
- In cooperation with the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), the Ministry of Education oversees NDEAR.
- It attempts to make it possible to design, employ, and reuse technology for education while adhering to a standard set of ideas and methods.

Outcomes:
- Students get access to videos, images, animations, virtual labs, and many types of evaluation tools as well as on-demand learning materials. Access to customized adaptive learning (PAL), tracking of skill development and transition to higher education
- Lesson plans, the utilization of TLM (Teaching-Learning Material), pedagogical transactions, online reference materials, competency-based evaluation systems, etc. are all supported online for teachers. Additionally, they have access to online courses that will raise their professional standards.
