Recently, Central Government introduced the National Transit Pass System (NTPS) also called as One Nation One Pass, which would help smooth transportation of wood, bamboo, and other forest goods across India.
Currently, transit permits for timber and forest produce follow state-specific rules.

Van Dhan Yojana |

National Bamboo Mission (NBM): |

Objective: Involve local communities in forest protection and management. Implementation: JFM promotes community participation in managing forest resources, ensuring a balance between conservation and livelihood needs. |
