About the Commission for Senior Citizens
1. Objective
- The commission aims to protect the rights, welfare, and social security of senior citizens.
- It seeks to instill confidence and dignity among the elderly by ensuring their concerns are addressed effectively.
2. Composition
- The commission will be headed by a Chairperson.
- It will have a minimum of three members, all of whom must be senior citizens themselves, ensuring direct representation of elderly voices in policymaking.
