Tamil Nadu has designated Kasampatty Sacred Grove as its second Biodiversity Heritage Site (BHS), following Arittapatti in Madurai, which was the first in the state.
Located near the Alagarmalai Reserve Forest in Dindigul district, the site is recognized for its rich ecological and cultural significance.
