
- The Opening Ceremony of the Bilateral Tri-Service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Amphibious Exercise between India and US, Tiger Triumph, was held onboard INS Jalashwa today 19 Mar 2024.
- This exercise is taking place on the Eastern Seaboard (East Coast) of India.
Previous Exercises and Alliances
- The first Tiger Triumph exercise was held in 2019 for 9 days.
- India and the US also participated in the Milan-24 multilateral naval exercise in February 2024.
- They took part in the Sea-Defenders 2024 maritime security exercise in Port Blair on March 8, 2024.

Harbour Phase (18-25 Mar 24):
- Held in Visakhapatnam, it includes subject matter expert exchanges and planning discussions.
- Sports activities have been planned to enhance camaraderie among the armed forces personnel.
Sea Phase (26-31 Mar 24):
- Units of both the countries will set up joint command and control centers and joint relief and medical camps.
- Focus on joint planning and implementation processes.
