What is Cube-BHISHM?
- BHISHMA stands for ‘Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog Hita and Maitri’.
- It consists of a set of "mini-cubes" designed for easy airlifting and deployment on any terrain.
- The portable hospital can handle a range of medical emergencies, including bullet, burn, head, spinal, chest injuries, etc.
- It is capable of providing critical medical care to 100 survivors for up to 48 hours
- It includes a fully equipped operation theater, mini-ICUs, ventilators, blood-testing equipment, an X-ray machine, cooking station, shelter facility, and power generator.
