Water innovation Challenge 4.O

The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) under NITI Aayog has launched two significant initiatives: the 'AIM – ICDK Water Challenge 4.0' and the 5th edition of the "Innovations for You" handbook.

1. These initiatives aim to promote innovation and sustainability in India, with a focus on water-related challenges and showcasing SDG entrepreneurs.

About AIM – ICDK Water Challenge 4.0:

1. The AIM – ICDK Water Challenge 4.0 is a collaborative effort between AIM and the Innovation Centre Denmark (ICDK) at the Royal Danish Embassy in India.
2. The challenge aims to address critical water-related challenges through innovative solutions.

Objectives:

1. Water Challenges: The challenge seeks to address critical water-related challenges through innovative solutions.
2. Global Participation: Selected teams from India will participate in the global Next Generation Digital Action program, collaborating with young talents from leading universities and innovation hubs in 9 countries.
3. Sustainability Focus: The program emphasizes sustainability, digital solutions, inclusion, and universal design principles.
4. Innovation Showcase: Participants will showcase their innovations at the Digital Tech Summit in Copenhagen from October 30th to 31st, 2024, with funding from the Government of Denmark.

Tracks:

The challenge invites entries under 2 tracks:

1. Student Track: Open to students of all disciplines.
2. Young Entrepreneur Track: Open to young entrepreneurs under 35, including early-stage startups, researchers, and young innovators committed to driving positive environmental change.

The AIM – ICDK Water Challenge 4.0 is an opportunity for young innovators to make a positive impact on water-related challenges and showcase their solutions on a global stage.
