About PB-SHABD:

2. Powered by vast network of Prasar Bharati reporters
3. Brings latest news from different parts of the country
4. Single point source of news content
5. Offered free of cost as an introductory offer
6. News stories in all major Indian languages across 50 categories
7. Shared feeds can be used for customized storytelling
8. Helps smaller newspapers, TV channels, and digital portals

What is Prasar Bharti?

1. It is the country's public service broadcaster.
2. It is a statutory autonomous body established in 1997 under the Prasar Bharati Act.
3. Purpose: To operate public broadcasting services for the purpose of informing and entertaining the public.
4. It includes the Doordarshan Television Network and All India Radio, which were previously media units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
