Jharkhand launches India's 1st-ever financial incentive scheme to encourage widow remarriage. Under this scheme, women who choose to remarry after the death of their husbands will receive an incentive of Rs. 2 lakh from the government.

  1. Marriageable Age
  2. Not a Government Employee, Pensioner, or Income Taxpayer
  3. Application Timeline: Within one year of remarriage.
  4. Required Documents: Death certificate of the late husband.
