The Bank Clinic is an initiative by the All India Bank Employees' Association (AIBEA) to help customers address their grievances amid rapid expansion in technology and a series of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines on retail banking. 

  1. A customer can fill out the details of her/his complaint, create a ticket, and receive a reply in 5 working days on the remedies available and information on what the RBI guidelines prescribe on that matter.

Purpose: Assist bank customers with grievance redressal

About the Bank Clinic:

  1. Initiative by: AIBEA

  2. Goal: To provide guidance on grievance redressal amid technology expansion and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines on retail banking.

  3. Non-resolving advisory platform: Guides customers on available remedies per RBI guidelines.

  4. Additional channel: Alongside the normal Banking Ombudsman process.

How Does it Work?

  1. Complaint registration: Customers can register their complaints on the Bank Clinic website.
  2. Response time: Customers will receive a reply within five working days.
  3. Response content: Details available remedies and relevant RBI guidelines for customers' specific issues.
  4. Goal: Timely and effective redressal of customer issues.
