In January, 2023, 4th edition of the States' Startup Ranking 2022 released by Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry,

Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu emerged as the best performers among large states in the 'States' Startup Ranking 2022'
