Write proper essay in short paragraphs (4–6 lines) + clear handwriting. Keep language simple, precise, and underline keywords.
Q. What is FMB (Fast, More, Better) technique for mains and why it is practiced by many toppers to score good marks in mains?
Ans: Many students fall in trap of UPSC because in the race of writing best answer / essay, they write slowly for initial questions / essay and are left with less time for later questions / 2nd essay. Toppers know that if they focus on Fast and More (Points), gradually some questions will be automatically better and every topper scores max 50-55% with only 3-4 questions of best quality. So, actual strategy to score better overall is to write fast and more points. Don’t focus too much on best, it will come in few (not all) questions automatically.
